Primer on the walls - this was recommended because of the old wallpaper adhesive.
One coat of red on the walls -
The shutters have been painted and are back on the windows; plus a second coat of red paint has been done. While painting the shutters one fell off the table and broke!! Re-assembling a wooden shutter is not how I wanted to spend a Saturday afternoon but I finally managed to get it glued and bound together.
